Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all.

Hi,
Sorry, I haven't been posting, just been having a hard time with the Holidays this year, and didn't want to drag anyone down. It doesn't feel like Christmas or right this year. I have spells of crying that I cannot control.
Nothing much last night, just opened gifts with Dirk. Today he is working, that is what happens when you work at a hospital.
I am going to cook a turkey with all the trimmings, got to say, doing better than I did Thanksgiving, staying in bed.
Yet, I have been doing that a lot too, but my lower back pain is extreme.
I see the neurosurgeon the beginning of Jan. to see what can be done.
Dirk is doing great NOT DRINKING, it was a month yesterday, he goes to AA, and is a different person. He says he feels better, etc.
Will write more, hanging with my dogs, waiting for the parade to go on, it's only 8:30 am here.
Wishing you all the best for 2009.
Hugs to all, Nikko:grouphug:

This is a normal, you are grieving.
I wish it weren't so hard for you.
I am glad to hear that Dirk is treating you well.

I am sorry that you spent thanksgiving under the sheets.
I am so glad that you are posting again....

Nikko

Sending many fond thoughts and wishes to you. Have a Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year. Yes a day late. But the thought still is the same.

I know its hard, my brother in law, didn't feel like celebrating yesterday
either so he stayed home. Instead of joining us at my mom's.

It was his first without his mother too.
