Dizziness, Medications and Long term Management

Hi,
I am new member. I am partner and caregiver to my partner who has HIV and became blind in April 06. He constantly suffers from dizziness and nausea (along with pain and anxiety). He fell last March 06 and had a hematoma but this has cleared up/dissolved per an MRI. His dizziness may be caused by the hematoma or infections or medications or something else, like Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome due to his recent blindness. Food or other additivies are not a likely cause. Blindness and dizziness (with related nausea) make life complicated and somewhat miserable for both of us. We /he tries different medications, like Cymbalta, BUspar, but they have not helped with depression or anxiety, and he suffers from the side efects. He sees a neurologist and a psychiatrist, but we are not making any progress (except for eliminating drugs that don't help.)

So where do we go from here? How can we get dizziness under control? Is that possible?

Have you read about the c1/c2 or atlas and axis on any chiropractic sites?
