just got blown away human to animal transfer of knowlage

hey all,
just got reading about TTouch a method to calm our companion animals and this is what I read on a website based out of Calgary, AB my neck of the woods.......

"Who is Linda Tellington-Jones? Linda grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, and has had more than 50 years of experience with horses of varied breeds and disciplines.
PHP Code:

The TTouch  method grew out of Linda's extensive range of experience combined with her  study as a student of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais

. The Feldenkrais Method works with the human nervous system and is known to be successful in improving athletic ability and increasing function in cases of paralysis and chronic pain. Linda realized that the same principles could be applied to animals. She has made 15 training videos for horses and three for dogs and two for cats, and has written 7 books describing TTEAM and TTouch work." taken from the following website

more info....
Shocking to me that this amazing method is being used on animals!

love and hugs,

Linda has has books and videos out about horses for years, using the ttouch, I used some of it on my horse and her calming training styles are really useful.
I think she is on to something.

she has a book out about how to find out about the general personality of a horse by looking at the shape of the head, ears, nose and other facial features and shapes - it does apply from what I have noticed with the horses I have had.

my wonderful first horse had a awesome personality and he fit in with her descriptions.
I didn't get the book until after I got the horse I have now though...

my horse now fits in to all the sensitive, high strung, flighty, unpredictable...:(
but I keep her anyway.
