What's on your plate??

It's been and continues to be a busy summer! Had a family picnic here, so much fun to see every one and my daughters came home to help me get ready for it....couldn't have done it without them! And dear moi and his family finally came to visit...loved seeing them and miss them already.

Have been without a provider (Comcast...we bundle with them...phone, computers, and TV's.) for four days. They have (imho) the worst customer service in the world! Finally they came last evening and it only took ten mins to reconnect the wire to the pole...said it probably blew off in the storm. ~sigh So grateful for public radio and a smart phone (too small a screen to read and post here)

Aug. is looking equally busy with trips down state, and to N.Y.and Wisc.

Mark you can understand busy...*grin. Nice to have word of you. I wish poo..ac would ck in.

wren, enjoy the corn!!

Hugs for the room. :grouphug:

I will be so glad for you when the surgery is behind you dear lady. I said no to a partial knee replacement last month and had a shot instead...the dr. said see you in two years so I know it doesn't just go away.

And good luck with the diet...so hard when you like to cook!!

Uh.....

Our 22 year old daughter has to go in for biopsy today. It will be uncomfortable. We pray the results revealed are of a treatable condition or that there was a fluke which brought her to this point.....

Frightening.... you know?

Sending prayers for your daughter and your whole family Mark.

Eva you are just an amazing lady and I admire your unwavering faith.

Not sure I'm ready for winter, still have a lot of green tomatoes.

wren I wonder what you're baking these days.

Lara, I didn't mean to remind you of very hard times in your past.
It was an amazing book about a very difficult time.

Hugs for the room....hang tough and remember that you aren't alone with those thoughts....just don't act on them! :grouphug:

Got a kitten about ten days ago. She puts a smile on my face everyday... She takes my mind off a lot. So cute too... Had my second steroid injection seven days ago. Had a pain flare up from that, which is totally awesome... Feel like everywhere below my waist is on fire while being doused in sulphuric acid & sharks... Hoping in the short tern that settles down. Apart from those two things, I have done nothing of any note. Only thing to report is Im still in pain. Ooh I did put up a mirror on the wall in my bathroom. I have three blinds I need to put up too. A mate of mine is going to help with that though...
