The Walsh Approach

http://www.walshinstitute.org/

Someone with multiple brain injuries has had good luck with this approach.

I checked out "Nutrient Power" from the library and am trying to get an appointment with a practitioner.

My psychiatrist said that he thinks my symptoms aren't from brain injury. I think he is mostly right. I think the concussions triggered biochemical problems, such as oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, potentially high pyrrole and heavy metal levels, and low nutrient levels.

My worst symptoms include overstimulaton/sensory overload, which happens several times a day, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, headaches, and tinnitus. I recently worked 45+ hours over 7 days, and it was a result of taking high doses of a few supplements to manage.

There's lots of information regarding schizophrenia (I have schizoaffective disorder) and the different phenotypes in the book.

I'll post my results with this approach.

I'd be interested to hear any feedback.

I've lived with these same symptoms for almost 20 years. I just reduce the stimulation a bit and leave the stimulation when it gets to be too much.

What supplements have you taken that you think have helped for the past week of work ?

NAC, vitamin c w/ bioflavonoids, curcumin, and fish oil.

My head has also been able to tolerate the impact of running and jumping. And watching videos on screens.
