What's on your plate...?

Actually quite a bit. Took my car over to have one of the rear, almost flat tires worked on...I'd hate to leave it at the airport and come home to a really flat tire...then Barbo would have to come rescue us ;)

Mr.Alffe took Cassie up to the kennel and she was excited to see all the dogs...remember that she had lived in a cage prior to our adopting her so it's a "devils you know" kind of a thing with her.

I trimmed my hair this morning and will get a lecture from my hair dresser next time I go in...she knows how to repair the damage I always do. :o

I hope Tabby will stay safe and come back and talk to us. I did notice that our BJ posted on the BP forum so she would use some prayers and reminders of our love.

And I want to remind you about partying in the treehouse when you think the cat is away....she isn't!! :D :D

I spent the morning and lunch hour trying not to get blown off the road! Holy cow!!! This wind is ferocious!

Addy 10-27-2010 12:45 PM

....looking around... what tree house.... looking around....

maybe we can have a poll while you're gone? ;)

I'm working on a friend's photo/music dvd - its her 65th on Friday... um... I think I wrote this on the last plate thread... well, I'm still working on it... lol... art takes time ...

I'm planning a Grand-Addy play date for all day tomorrow!!

I'm doing a lot of stuff and have a list... all of it computer related... time consuming so I have the tv on for entertainment... watching the View right now... boy those women yell a lot!

ttfn xoxox to the cat

My plate just got alot cleaner. Got a call saying im not needed later tonight at my second job, sooooo that means I have some free time after work, (maybe dinner and a nap?) until a meeting at 8pm.

Stil trying to figure out the future though in the meantime in between this and that. It feels very "off" being in that state of transition, perhaps moving somewhere in the next 6 months but not knowing where yet, waiting back to hear if i get a job. . .

Alffe when do you leave? the treehouse needs sprucing up.

Alffe 10-27-2010 03:57 PM

:D too funny abou the poll Addy and the treehouse was clean when I left!

Barbo, you won't believe what we did....went off without the Carmen tickets!!!

Now Barbo can really appreciate the significance of that. Mr.Alffe was raised to that opera music...his mothers favorite and he always wanted to see it live. Five years ago, when I got the "new & improved nose" we came over here with tickets to see it (I wore a veil...I digress):D

Anyway, lounging in our hotel room Mr.Alffe said ck the tickets and see what time it starts.....it was over!! They were matinee tickets!!!

:D Ok...off to Fox & Obels...my favorite store to get supplies. Son in law coming for the evening.

Wish, have I completely confused you now???

Abbie can't wait to read about the bullying. Thank you.

BMW....:D :D

Doody....I'll deal with you later.

You'all behave!!!

Doody 10-27-2010 04:09 PM

Ruh roh, am I going to get my ears pulled???

Gosh, aren't you gone YET!? LOL! Oh wait, you said you were taking along a computer. However will we be able to party in your absence?

That sucks about the tickets!

I am so jealous thinking of you in Chicago! I love that place! Loved going there with you!

You and Mr. Alffe have tons and tons of fun.

You're just destined NOT to see Carmen!

We are having the best time..it's still dark and we're staying on the 18th floor of a downtown condo..the lights are incredible..top of the Wrigley Bldg is pink (Breast Cancer awareness) ..floor to ceiling glass really does give you a birdseye view of this city. It does creak occasionally so I assume there is still a lot of wind (course it's always been called the windy city..) At home all I need to do is look outside at the pine trees swaying and can judge how great the wind is...I'll wait until it gets light and see how people are dressed.
My sister-inlaw (her condo, she's away) recommended a new breakfast place very near here..Yolk http://yolk-online.com/..so we'll wander over there when Mr.Alffe gets up.
Have a great day...:grouphug:

LOL re: evergreens or buildings swaying in the wind ... I think I'll go with the tees ;)

I'm waiting on a repair person today... so stuck keeping the place somewhat tidy when I'd rather be doing my favourite thing... making a music/photo video.

I'm considering sharing my "work" to make a few $. My part time job depends solely on the weather because its at the beach so my hours are cut. I recently made it all the way to the last two people in an interview process... made me learn I'm glad I didn't get the job... as I much prefer this less stressful life. I seriously think this time was given to me to work on a plan...

seeing friends tonight to celebrate a birthday!

xo

Loved Carmen & the Lyric Opera House...walked back..needed to get some exercise after sitting so long..it was 3 hrs & 45 mins..every seat filled. but I shouldn't have worried about staying awake..I was enthralled.

Addy I hope you are having fun at the birthday celebration.

It's that time of year...everybody is making soup and dressing in warmer clothes...Barbo, I do want that recipe.

Doody, so glad you liked the pictures..we are going back to the bakery in the morning to get some great desserts for tomorrow night when my other sister & her dh meet us for dinner out, and back here for dessert.

I don't cook when I'm on vacation...I love to cook but not when I'm traveling.

Wish...how are you today? Wondering the same thing about Lonely1 and Blue .....and smae..and BJ

Hugs for the room...:grouphug:
