Haven't been on in a while

Hi all! Haven't been on here in forever. I have now developed asthma and I have spent some time in the hospital. I am hoping when I get my new insurance, I'm going to try to get in to see Dr. S...my RSD has spread so fast this year, I'm going to try to see if I qualify for ketamine therapy. Has anyone else done the ketamine therapy even after a spread?

hi cindy, welcome back.

Sorry about the asthma diagnosis. I know there are lot of people trying to get into see Dr. S. Everyone states there is a 2 plus year wait. Depending on how bad you are doing, you may want to look around. There are several post about ketamine with lists of dr.'s. Good luck!

Hi Cyndi,

I have had close to 80 ketamine infusions, they are extremely effective for me. My RSD started in my upper right extremity, spread upwards, and then down through my right leg. It occasionally impacts both my feet.

I tried most other treatments prior to ketamine, nothing else worked.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. The Ketamine Klub on Facebook has a ton of great info on the subject.

I truly hope you are feeling better. Sandy

Thanks for the input.,.I so appreciate it and I'll take it all to heart. My asthma is under control. I think that it contributed to a lot of my exhaustion.
