Hi ...

Dx 10 years ago.
Two months ago...I maxed my sinemet cr to almost 1300mg levadopa plus contam plus 8 mg requip resulting in severe leva-dopa induced off dystonia almost another day ...in fact, no one, even my MDS, told me that the dystonia was leva-induced....until I rigorously reduced my sinemetcr to 400-500mg that all my dystonia gone! The reduction was done overnight, not progressive adaptation.

If they (the doctors) know the possible side effects of l-dopa and don't tell us, that is bad. But if they don't know after 50 years of using this 'golden' drug, this is a disaster.
How are you doing now?
all the best
Imad

Sorry for my late reply and I'm doing fine with low dosages of I-dopa. And I must recommend the music therapy of www.duosuccess.com.
