My foot controls my life

Hi everyone,
After 4 back surgeries at L5/S1, I still have a very painful and numb foot and other areas which only until recently I have somewhat found some relief from the pain with the use of medicines. I heard about you all from another site and since I keep searching for something that will help me heal I decided to join and do a lot of reading to see if anyone has my same issues. My foot has run my life for 2 years and I would love to be among the living once again. If anyone has helpful suggestions please let me know. Thanks
julie

Hi Julie, welcome to NeuroTalk. This is a great place to hang out. There are some really nice and caring people here.

I have numbness that's due to MS, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. Try doing a search, if you haven't already, on numbness after surgery.

Again, welcome to NT. :)

foot faults

Julie..I am a spinal person too. a damaged right SI joint..I have foot drop in my right foot. I understand how you feel..our feet can really run our lives.
I grew up an avid skater..and thst isn't ever gonna happen for me again :( and the choices for shoes that accept a foot orthotic are what I would call exactly cute any more!

Hiya Julie

The only thing I can think of is for you to bring the foot that is conrolling your life over here and control my life, I'm ready to give anything a try, what ya think, ???? Good to see ya sis

Achey, I would love to take you up on that but if I give you my foot then I need something in return. I really don't know what size shoe you wear so we would have to make sure they were the same size or it would look funny huh? So glad to see you here too. Be kind to yourself and let go of unneeded crap in your life. Love you sis,
julie
