Akathisia and Extrapyramidal Symptoms?

I was just diagnosed with Akathisia and some Extrapyramidal Symptoms.
Does anyone else have experience with either of these?

Four years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and also got a concussion that left some traumatic brain injury.

I'm now 22 and have been on lots of Psych meds over the past four years.

Has anyone found a good type of specialist or any helpful treatment for the pain? Benadryl was one suggestion...

My son, who has movement disorder, was accidentally given Risperdal by the pharmacy. He suffered (and suffers) from similar symptoms. I take him to a myofascial trigger point therapist for pain treatment. You can google it to see if there's a therapist near you. For him, at least, additional drugs are just not an option. The therapy really helps get the pain under control and also corrects the tight muscles that cause is feet to turn.

Also, we gave him a regimen of extra B vitamins to help detoxify his system and extra vitamin C as well. I think these really helped, but you need to be careful how much B vitamin you take. My son used a B-50 supplement, but for him I had to split one capsule into 3 days because he is so tiny.
