Question about being approved

If you do get the approval for social security, do they pick certain medical conditions or is it for each medical condition that you list? I no longer have the approval letter and I just recently checked some paperwork. I listed a few different conditions and some of them are not as severe as others are. I really would like to know what the determination is based on.

Thank you for any information that you might have.

Only as many conditions are sufficient to establish that you are disabled. They will include two general diagnosis codes on the electronic record, one primary, one secondary.
