unexpected side effects??

Hi all,
I was diagnosed about 20 years ago with PTSD and for the most part Welbutrin xl 300 mg has worked very well. However in the last few years my head aches have gotten pretty bad so they added Cymbalta to help keep them at bay. for the last year I have developed a really bad case of rosacea where my skin feels and looks like its actually burning. The doctor has given me metro gel (both 0.75% and 1.0%) this didn't help. They currently have my using onreltea once a day but other then the first week, its not working anymore. They've also put me on doxycycline. I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this and if so did stopping the Cymbalta help?

Side note, the headaches have returned not quiet as bad and within 3 weeks of starting the Cymbalta my body temp went up to the point of not needing a jacket in -20 Celsius weather and I was always cold before. I have tried topomax for the headaches but the doctor decided to switch.

Hi, I don't have much experience with PTSD but recall a member from the FM/CFS group I was on for many years talked about PTSD she dealt with and don't know why she had the PTSD dx but I know she talked about all the alternatives she used, including acupuncture and meditated daily. I don't recall her talking about a lot of drugs, but I didn't follow her that much.

I've checked online about alternative/complimentary treatments used by the VA and other agencies down here in the U.S. I would be doing alternatives if in that position but I can't walk in your shoes on this. Something to think about..I know many drugs can cause us issues, I've been there years ago. Back before my thyroid got supported, Wellbutrin was in some of the mixes of A/D's for 10 long years...thyroid was the issue and my gut told me that for 10 yrs. So many things could be addressed. Take care.
