Your Best Egg Hiding Places - Please

Hi All,

In a bit I have to go play Easter Bunny. My kid is getting wise to all the usual hiding places. I would love to hear some of your best indoor egg hiding spots.

Happy Easter

Well, when I was about 5 years old I thought it would be a good idea to hide a colored, hard-boiled egg in the oven. Of course, nobody found it.......during that game. But, later when my Mom turned on the oven to cook something we all knew where it was! http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/k...thYouStink.gif

Thanks! Note to self: "No eggs in oven."

Of course, I have to make notes because I forget where I put them five minutes later. lol

One year, DH hid my nephew's basket hanging from the drapery rod on the window side of the drapes. We had to divert our nephew's attention when we were driving up to the house after church... it took him forever to find it, even with "hot and cold".
We have also hid them in the couch cushions (we took the cushion out), fireplace, toilet tank (empty the water out first!), dishwasher, wine rack, so many places. Kind of miss coloring the eggs and hiding the baskets...:(

Toes of shoes, pockets of jackets, in the vegetable/fruit basket under or behind what ever else is in it, washing machine amid the clothes, in the freezer, somewhere in the child's own bedroom.....

Well, if it snows, it's obvious. Hidden and kept fresh, all at the same time..:D

Don't laugh..it's happened and I've done it.:p

Thanks Gang!

We had a great hunt! I think she found them all. Like I said, I have no idea where they are five minutes after I hide them. That kind of makes it fun for me. It's like they really were hidden by the Easter Bunny. I guess that's the upside of brain damage. lol:D

I kept them all indoors. We've got too much wildlife around to put any kind of foodstuff outside. It's really a problem this time of year when the bears are waking up - hungry. There's something so not festive about standing guard with a shotgun while your small child looks for eggs.

Cheers
