Chronic mouth pain after root canal
I believe what I have is atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia. The pain first started next to a tooth that had been root-canalled twice. My dentist and the endodontist had both ruled out infection when the pain had gone on for about 6 mos to a year. It's been 2.5 years now and I am seeing a neurologist but the meds have not provided the relief I had hoped for. Some decrease in pain but nowhere near what I need. A poster on the TN site suggested I post this under dental pain to see if anyone had into to share.
