New batch of doxies

Hearts United for Animals just got another batch of doxies from a Missouri puppy mill, and they are just absolutely adorable. Well, not just got them, but got them since I was there last time in March. :heartthrob:

I suspect they've been named after the Brady Bunch.

Batch of Doxies

Hmmm, thought Doxies came in "litters." Did you bake them?

*slaps knee and guffaws at own sense of humor*

 You goofball.

This is the sweetie that I sponsor. When I met him I just fell in love (but then...I fell in love with all the dogs there). He is HUGE and just sweeter than any dog I have ever met in my life. His name is Filbert. He didn't come from a puppy mill but rather a family who gave him up when they had a baby. HUA said he had a tough time adjusting and was very sad, but when I saw him and played with him, he was just....well geesh, he was adorable. AND HUGE

Oh, I just noticed...

All these doggies are OLD.... not much time left for them!

Were these breeders?

OMG!
Very cute animals.
Prayers and good thoughts that they are adopted SOON!

Yes Mrs. D. The 'Brady' bunch all came from yet another Missouri puppy mill. All of them were breeders.

The boy I sponsor, Filbert, was given up by a couple who had a new baby.

My baby, Bruna, also came from a Missouri puppy mill and was a breeder as well. She was born June 13 of 2004. She's doing really well. Though, she doesn't have the tunneling thing down that doxies do. Guess she never had a place to do that.

For the most part, HUA does puppy mill rescues trying to stamp out that horrible business. But they also take in animals that have been abandoned, neglected...and often local shelters call them about doggies that are going to be put down.
