For those with burning/tingling feet..

Do they tingle/burn all of the time, or just some of the time? Just curious. My tingling/burning is constant, but worse at night, and the pain is much worse when I am on my feet too much. Thanks.

Hi Dreamer
My feet feels like I have sand in my toes and the burn is quick like putting alcohol on a wound then fades out. If I am busy, I don't pay attention to it.

Not to say I don't have events I do and mostly at night.
I am the opposite when I am walking my feet are fine it is when l am sitting. I also get sharp pain that come and go

When you say constant on a scale of 1 to 10 how do you rate constant. Mine goes from 2 to 4 during the day on the average.

For me, the pain is worst when I'm on my feet - especially with shoes on. It continues to get worse if I have multiple days in a row where I'm on my feet a lot. It gets better if I can limit the time on my feet for a few days, but I always know its there. Right now, it doesn't bother me too much at night. But I'm afaid its only a matter of time before that will come :(

You described exactly they way my feet/ankles burn. Sometimes at night the bottom of my feet hurt so badly making walking very difficult as well.

I have taken to wearing slip on open back sandals with velcro closure straps in front. Can't wear socks because it just aggravates the nerves even worse.

Thank you. I once went to a specialty shoe store and they custom made me sneakers that cost more than $400, but I didn't care about the price because I wanted something that was comfortable. Turned out, they felt horrible and I had to return them! I now mostly wear sandals that are way too pricey for me ($140), but it's worth it because they don't make my feet feel any worse.
