Dilantin levels?

I see now why my Dilantin problem drives my Dr nuts. I know if it gets to high it is toxic, I forget what the other way.

Here is my question:

What happens if it is too high or too low?

Thanks

When I was on Dilantin if my level was high I would get to be very dizzy and lose my balance, falling and sleepy. I would see a great number of things in frout of me going in circles. It was a very scary feeling. Also my voice would be slurry.

I have not been on it in about 10 years. I was feeling great after I winged off of it. If I was low I would end up with more seizures and felt off in another world.

Hope I have been help with this. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi,

Darlene is correct when your Dilantin level gets to high you will feel dizzy, have double vision, feel very tired and almost feel like you are drunk sometimes a person can't even stand up on their own if it's to high.
If the dilantin level is to low you will start to see an increase of seizures.
I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue

Thanks. I would hate to have a seizure in a bout. Although it would make for a heck of a remise
