Dilantin levels?
I see now why my Dilantin problem drives my Dr nuts. I know if it gets to high it is toxic, I forget what the other way.
Here is my question: What happens if it is too high or too low? Thanks |
When I was on Dilantin if my level was high I would get to be very dizzy and lose my balance, falling and sleepy. I would see a great number of things in frout of me going in circles. It was a very scary feeling. Also my voice would be slurry.
I have not been on it in about 10 years. I was feeling great after I winged off of it. If I was low I would end up with more seizures and felt off in another world. Hope I have been help with this. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Darlene :hug: |

Darlene is correct when your Dilantin level gets to high you will feel dizzy, have double vision, feel very tired and almost feel like you are drunk sometimes a person can't even stand up on their own if it's to high. If the dilantin level is to low you will start to see an increase of seizures. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You! Sue |
Thanks. I would hate to have a seizure in a bout. Although it would make for a heck of a remise
