Trip to Immunologist isn't wasted....

They stuck me 18 times to find out what I was allergic to. Turns out I'm allergic to all grasses, house dust, horses, gunina pigs, and molds. This explains why my nose runs like a sift. It started about 3 years ago.

He put me on Albuterol, Allegra, Advair, and Nasacort.

He also ordered blood work and a chest xray and I go back Friday for the results.

He wants my PCP to order a sleep study, he thinks I need to be on a Cpep machine if that's how you prononce it.

I was in there for 2 hours so they sure were on the ball. When they did the first allergy test it showed nothing and he decided to stick me 18 times under the skin to see what I was allergic to.

He is very thorough and he's wanting to find what is going on with my immune system so that's good.

I just don't know what to do about all of these allergies when I have to mow the grass and have to be around dust. Even though Susan cleans my house I still have dust and I'm sure there is mold around me also.

They also did a breathing test on me and then gave me meds and I had another breathing test after the meds and it was not any better.

Just wanted to let you guys know how things went.

Hi Ada! I am so glad that your allergy Doc. is on the "Ball"! sorry, ya had to get stuck so many times!! Can you pay someone to mow the grass?? they have face masks also for dusting, painting, etc. just a thought. Ada, are you talking about sleep apathy? If so, my husband has to wear one of thos face masks with the APA machine running. When I feel a need to be calm and soothed, I steal it, when he's away somewhere :D LOL It's all nice "fresh air"AHHHHHHHHHH...! Feel better fast sweetie. hugs Love, Desi
