Aging, Memory Issues and HGH Depletion
This relates to all memory loss issues and I am learning so much since using an HGH homeopathic gel for other issues. The Master Hormone controls so much and when we are not supporting it, everything goes downhill, or can go.
List the Diseases Caused by a Deficiency in Growth Hormone This is a good general Link from AARP: Dr. Andrew Weil, AARP, Human Growth Hormone by Jeffrey Dach MD Talk to doctor, get your IGF1 hormone labs done if you want to keep a quality life as we age. I've never had this test but an itegrative MD about 20 yrs ago offered me HGH injections and I declined. Now at 81, here I am doing this homeopathic transdermal microdosing gel and getting nice results. |
A PubMed search ("HGH" and "Alzheimer") retrieves three papers.
None provide any evidence that HGH is of benefit in treatment of Alzheimer's Disease. |

And yes I'm finding so much info on Heart Health, Arthritis and more and more as we lose this valuable hormone. I don't know how much the HGH will help full blown Alz, but when people are being treated early with our LOSS, we can prevent so much damage. |
The information in this evidence-based site may be of interest to NT members who are considering self-medication with HGH for any reason.
HGH (Human Growth Hormone): Uses and Side Effects |
Kiwi: There is a LOT to learn about HGH replacement and I'm not talking injections and steroids, etc...I'm using a homeopathic gel, micordosing and there is not another product like the one I'm using out there.
It' a big world and so much to learn and we learn so little. So as I've said, we're here to help and support each other on their health paths...not do harm. |
Caroline, I agree with you that we have much to learn about biomedical science.
That is why I posted the results of the PubMed search showing that there is currently no evidence that HGH is of any use in management of Alzheimer's Disease and the WebMD link explaining what is known about HGH. More generally, I think that it is important that NT members remember that Dr Google has neither a scientific nor a medical background; it is part of the advertising business. Because of that, while there are evidence-based sites on the Web, there are also sites which advocate or sell allegedly therapeutic products or procedures in the absence of any evidence. Evaluating which are which is not always an easy task. |
Kiwi, in case you had not realized I'm not a great fan of the scientific and medical worlds. They are forever changing and missing so much that other therapies from other avenues of medicine help us. I've been harmed by big pharma drugs and so do all within my power to avoid them. Take them with caution when necessary, like BP meds and thyroid med (which btw I've been able to reduce in half since on the HGH gel) yep...
Reduced in half Ibuprofen I have been taking for chronic OA and joint pain issues. This is BIG in my life. I've read so many posts here at NT and some of the harm from drugs people have and are taking. There are alternatives to just about EVERY medicine out there...I've done years of work on this issue. So we'll just agree to disagree on what we trust. Thanks. C |
