Excessive sweating

I am drenched just dusting, walking the dog, or any mild activity out or indoors. Last evening we went to a deck crawl-it was humid but in the low 80s. My hair was soaked and I glistened-not in a good way. When friends hugged me, they kept their distance:( No one else was sweating at all:(:(

I read that this can be a symptom of MS. This has been going on about 2 weeks-maybe a bit less. It is combining with almost no control of my bladder and the continued leg spasms.

So I am asking if any of you have ever had this problem of excessive sweating? I was so embarrassed last night...

Yes, I can break out into a sweat just standing at the kitchen counter when it's 70 degrees, and 10 minutes later feel chilled.

Oh sure. I've had spells of perspiration running down my face and into my eyes along with the same thing happening in the trunk area...and it isn't from mental-pause flushes. I'm well beyond that.

It seems to come in spells for me. I'lll get 'the perspirations' daily for a week or two and then nothing. I've always chalked it up to some sort of adrenal imbalance that is likley due to a pituitary/thyroid malfunction.
I don't know if it has anyting to do with the MS.

have you had your thyroid (both T3 and T4 as well as TSH) checked?

With love, Erika

Yep, every 6 months. I have hypothyroidism-my levels tend to fluctuate so that's why they're checked routinely.
Maybe I should call and have it checked again...this is definitely annoying.
