fluctuations

I've been taking my sugars for the past two days. They fluctuate anywhere from 170 to 190 to 240 to 310 depending on the time of day. Most of my numbers are in the 200s I'm not taking any insulin yet for any of this. I'm just taking glucophage so far. 2 x 500mg

My question: Is glucophage capable of settling these fluctuations or am I going to need insulin?

Also is diabetes "yeast" hard to get rid of than regular "yeast"? My bum itches from top to bottom.

Just thought I'd ask.

This is a rather low dose of Glucophage.

There are many ways to control sugar with oral meds.
But the newest trend is to use insulin in Type II patients.

It is much better all around. The new Lantus is once a day.

Blood sugar will fluctuate with infections. Or other illness. Stress and some drugs like steroids. So you should discuss this with your doctor.
