Where to post messages about thyroid problems?

Hi, everybody:

I would like to know if there is a forum where I could post messages about thyroid problems. I have hypothyroidism; this is the reason why I am asking this question. I am not sure if I should post messages about thyroid problems in the "Rare Disorders" forum because there are regions in which they are not considered rare disorders. I see that in the "Other Diseases and Concerns" forum, there are sub-forums, but I do not find any for thyroid problems. So where is the most appropriate place to post messages about thyroid problems for me to get more answers and possibly help others with the same problem? Thanks for your information.

The Autoimmune Diseases Forum discusses thyroid issues. Here is the link:

Hi, Kitty:

Thanks for your answer. I see that in the "Autoimmune Diseases" forum, I can post questions about, as mentioned, "Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (underactive thyroid)" and "Graves’ disease (overactive thyroid)". Can I still post there if my hypothyroid problem is not Hashimoto's? I read on several web sites information about thyroid problems, information mentioning that there are several types of underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) problems. Mine could or could not be Hashimoto's or, in other words, my hypothyroidism could be a non-autoimmune disorder, but a disorder caused by something else (I suspect RSD spreading to my thyroid, but I could be wrong). However, I will try posting my questions there to see if I get answers. Thanks for letting me know anout this thread and for posting the link to it so I can find it more easily.

Sure, you can post there. :) There are many here that post who aren't positive about their diagnosis but need a place to ask questions and get feedback from others who might be experiencing the same problems.
