58 is a pretty low reading. It is not typical for people who are not diabetic. It indicates your body is making too much insulin at the food trigger beginning, and that insulin is sweeping the glucose out of your blood too fast. The liver is supposed to kick in when you are low, with newly manufactured glucose. So if people have liver damage this might be a reason. But most commonly very low numbers like this mean you are on the road to diabetes in the future. Hypoglycemia may come from disorders of the pancreas as well, or a tumor there. Changes in diet by avoiding sugar and starchy carbs may help level you out so you don't get these spells. |

This is just one piece of the puzzle.I've been diagniose with peripheral neuropathy as well as muscle imflamitory process. The byopsy's shows something with my blood ???.and the questions were differant, does diebetes run in your family-No, have i donated or had a operation -No, have i been exposed to industrial fertizer-No. Now the new set of blood test are more specfic and deeper not sure what deeper means, 3 hr glucose test, VitC, copper and others not sure what. all blood samples being sent out. I ask the nurse if this has anything to do with AO and all she said was yes & no.So it looks like there on to something.I hope lol.. BTW i'm not on any oral medication for diabetes or using insulin |

By any other symptoms I meant drinking a LOT, urinating a lot, what goes in will come out. Unexplained weight gain, or loss. Blurry vision. Fatigue. Things in that line. Yes, your liver should shoot out some glucose, apparently you stopped testing after that. Would have been interesting to see if you have a rebound effect. Going to high again.
Might be a good idea to pick up an inexpensive meter and strips and keep a log of #s and food intake. No prescription needed for either. |
