please help me understand my latest mri
 
Clinical History: Back and left leg pain. Previous surgery; Study Parameters:
Sagittal TI splittable double echo, axial TI and T2;Sagittal STIR images.
Findings: Remonstrated at the LI-L@ level are degenerative disk changes with posterior disk herniation.
Mild rotatory scoliosis is present.
When compared with previous exam there are no interval change L3-L4 shows facet arthropathy, No disk herniation or stenosis.
Fixation hardware seen at eh L4,L5 and SI levels with pedicle screws and plates.
L4-L5 shows postoperative changes.
Axial at L5-SI shows a laminotomy on the right.
There is mixed signal with nixed enhancement seen on the right in the epidural space and right foramen.
L4-L5 shows enhancement in he epidural space.
No other abnormal contrast enhancement demonstrated.

IMPRESSION:1. Remonstrated at L1-L2 is degenerative dis disease with a small posterior disk herniation and associated spondylosis compatible with a disk osetephyte.
2. Patient has undergone PLIF at the L4-L5 and L5-SI compatible with postoperative scar.

:confused: I'll in a lot of pain. It's not always constant but when it hurts, it hurts. comes an goes along with burning sensation on top of left thigh. Back sometimes feel as if it will break into.
by the way have also had a total hip replacement, and rotator cuff repair.
An no I did not play on the girls (or boy ) football teams

If anyone can help me understand this I will be so ever grateful

Did you get a copy of the images too?
Sometimes it is easier to read the report and then look at the pics.
some places have them on CD/DVD now.

Easiest to break it down to basics - and do a Google or other fav search engine of the words you don't understand

degenerative disk changes with posterior disk herniation
Mild rotatory scoliosis - some spinal experts will give a % or degree of rotation
L3-L4 shows facet arthropathy
L4-L5 shows postoperative changes
L5-SI shows a laminotomy on the right
L4-L5 shows enhancement in he epidural space
