Easter Greetings

Hello: To all of you who celebrate the holiday, have a happy Easter!

This is not a very good year for outdoor egg hunts, that's for sure. The wind chill is 13 degrees at the moment. Easter in this area is going to be colder than it was at Christmas. There is a snow advisory today, also.

I still have to go to the store for some items. I am trying new recipes and do not have the right ingredients. Wish me luck in getting them done. I usually have to do a little bit, lie down for awhile, then continue later. There are some things I just cannot bake any more. My family still likes home made baked items, so I just try new, easier recipes. I sure hope they turn out.

I hope all of you have a pleasant day with your families. To those of you with good weather, enjoy your good fortune. To those who are having winter-like conditions, try to keep warm. Regards, Lil

Happy Easter Lil and others on the forum

Happy Easter to all. It is very cold here also. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
My husband just went out to do the shopping for Easter Dinner here. I am pretty much disabled and in a lot of pain so he is a saint of saints and does just about everything. He will also be cooking. I am so lucky.
Best wishes to all on this forum for a nice day tomorrow. I am so grateful to everyone who participates here and tries to help. It is such a comforting, supportive group.

It's cold here in Co. today also. I went out and there was ice on my steps and my tulips are frozen. I had ice on my windshield and had to scrape and scrape to get it off.

My boys have outgrown Easter egg hunting. I always get them something for Easter though. We will have dinner at Susan's.

I can't believe this weather here. It's going to be 68 Tuesday and all of the rest of the week in the 50's.

I hope all of you have a great Easter no matter what the weather is like.

Hi all,

and happy Easter to everyone :)

It's a 5 day holiday here, Thursday was the Chinese Ching Ming festival (Spring grave-sweeping. don't ask ;) ) - that's the official start of Spring in the Chinese world.

Weather very changeable here, wild differences in temperature. We suddenly had 2 weeks of boiling weather (unseasonably, doesn't warm up here till May), so I put away my oil heaters, sweaters etc.....and of course a couple of days ago the temperature plummeted like lead and I had to drag them out again, fish out the socks...so it's all my fault, as I put away the heaters I thought, just because I'm doing this, it's going to change instantly..

Anyway, love to all, have a good break if you can manage to,
all the best!

Hi all! The weather where I live ahd been predictably "unpredictable"--but DESPITE snow, feeezing nite-time temps, the tulips and daffodils are "holding their own". The crocus are out in FULL FORCE!!

Spring always gives GREAT HOPE, despite the 'set-backs"...so, if we can all just hang in there a bit longer, "sunnier days" will soon bless us all!

Most Sincerely,

Brokenwings
