Novacaine safe for Parkinson's?

My dad is going to have a cavity drilled on Friday, and plans on taking Artane for his tremors. He is concerned there will be interactions between Artane and novacaine, or that it will decrease the effectiveness. Can anyone point me to a resource that addresses this issue so he doesn't have to worry?

Thanks so much!

I think since one is a pill and one is an injection in a localized area, that they probably would not interact.

The dentist should be able to clarify if there is a concern.

This drug checker does not report an interaction:
Drug Interaction Report - Drugs.com

The drug checker at Drugs.com is pretty up to date, but none of the checkers are 100%....they rely on reported data, and since not every interaction is reported...there can be holes in their listings.

Since Artane is not a very commonly used drug, some dentists may not have any experience with it.
