How is the weekend? Sat. November 12,10
 

Hi,

I've been sleeping off and on today. It feels right to be in the mind set to sleep --- today's job is to sleep when and if I get sleepy.
It is unusual for me to
1. want to sleep
2. have an interupted day to sleep
This is good so far.

Weather today: High 77 F Low tonight 59 F

I put in a call to my girlfriend. I have not seen her in a long time. If I leave her alone too long she gets anxious and worked up about stuff. If we are both available (depending on my sleep :) ), might see her today or tomorrow.

It's about 65 here and mostly sunny.

I didn't get up until 12:30 today. I haven't done anything yet today, but (yawn) I have to do food shopping soon.

I have a very sore throat.....again...i have been having a cold or sinus thingy for a month it seems...just when I think I am getting over it, wham I wake up with a sore throat! So am taking zyrtek and other over the counter meds just in case it is another sinus issue.
I drank hot tea, during my hair appointment, color which takes hours at the local beauty school.
very excited, ordered a turducken today for thanksgiving....we are having a couple and their daughter over...good friends of ours.
need to start planning the menu....

Played with niece (4) and nephew (6)... talked with their mommy (my sister) and daddy.

Adjusting to new meds.... hanging out.... surfing the net...
getting ready to take a nap.

Bizi your turducken sounds fantabulous. i fear i would not be able to eat enough meat in one sitting to taste all the parts though!!! lol. (multiple sittings would be required! :p)

how lovely that you got to spend time with your family and especially the children. i hope you are able to do that with increasing frequency. best wishes with the med adjustments ... so nice to see you. :)

i am mostly stressing-but-trying-not-to. basically "vegging out" and taking all the rest i need. i need to become calmer. (or at least not terrified.)

because those pictures are things i feel nostalgic about: love, no longer have, miss.

woke up with a sore throat still...ugh!
my back aches which usually means I will "start" today...fun! not!
It is gloomy out side so don't know what I will do today, would like to go to the gym,jasons deli for dinner, then the brass quintet concert at 6 then a modern dance performance right after that at the unniversity here.
This week is jazz week, the students perform their combos, jeff has a jazz guitar group playing on wed.
we are hosting thanksgiving this year, ordered a tuducken yesterday!
it will be just 5 of us, casual...I am trying to not stress over this.
my mother helped me last time I hosted thanksgiving a few years ago....the turducken is smaller only 10 pounds.
having some coffee on this sore throat helps....
I hope who ever follows is well, warm and gratful for the day that we have.:)

I went to watch the special olympic team bowl yesterday. It was lots of
fun. It was kind of a odd feeling watching 3 of the kids bowl in the same
lane and against each other. It will limit how many can go to the state
bowling tournament. But it also meant they got to bowl and watch each
other.

Derrick's lane and 3 others were having lots of problem's. So in the end 1 hour late 4 lanes kind of started to bowl. It was a really interesting thing
to watch Derrick have to wait. They were worried they weren't going
to get to bowl at all. But they took their scores manually.

It was lots of fun, Derrick finished 2 after his friend.
