Has anyone read?

For my psychology class I am taking I had to read "Tuesday's with Morrie" has anyone read this??? Wow, what a book, I would personally suggest the book to anyone to read.... it is not long and it is very easy reading.

Excellent story, talk about a friendship! I can't quote it exactly, but when Morrie gives his talk about the absence of love, he told Mitch that there is a kind of black hole that can be filled only by loving human relationships. Where there is love, a person can experience no higher sense of personal fulfillment. Wow.

Morrie has been my personal hero with all this MS crap, he taught me to stay disconnected from the MS and hold hard onto living. Amazing book, might be time to read that one again, thanks lambchop!

It's a wonderful book! He's also written The Five People You Meet in Heaven that I'd recommend. :grouphug:

Love ALL of his books

Five People You Meet in Heaven & One More Day are both excellent as well.

He has a new book that is equally excellent called "For One More Day". It is just as short as the others. Awesome read about a guy who gets to spend one more day with his dead mother.

I read all of these as well as saw the movies.

DBF's dad has ALS and we watched the movie "Tuesday's With Morrie" together. Talk about an emotional experience. His sister asked to borrow the book as she could not watch the movie. It was more than she could handle. So I just gave her the book to read in bits and pieces.

Excellent book, Yabbit! It sits on my nightstand, not collecting dust, but there for an occasional pick up to re-read. One of my favorite books. ;)
