Hello Buzzz, as I wrote a few posts ago (title: "a new form of Parkinson's disease was Discovered") has been officially confirmed, a certain type of parkinsonism due to malfunction of the SLC30A10 gene, which is responsible for disposing of toxic materials present in the body. The important news is that in these cases there is a cure that reverses almost completely the symptoms. This treatment as explained in the text, consists of a heavy metal chelation, appropriately performed by doctors in the hospital.

I have been doing heavy metal chelation for a few years, the culprits are usually lead and mercury. Tomorrow, I get my 29th chelation. I also had all my mercury fillings removed. I am feeling good, general healthwise, but my tremor and right side stiffness remain. At first my doc thought my tremor was due to mercury. But then, my DATscan test came back with an obvious and certain PD positive result. When I told my doc that I did have PD, he said, well it is still important, especially important, that you detox. I am inclined to agree.

It costs, though.

Almost as important as the chelation, is the other stuff they give you in the IV: glutathione and phosphotidylcholine make me feel just fantastic.

Hi Wordsmithy I have been doing chelation for about a year and a half, too. In my case I had chronic intoxication by aluminum (up to 10 times the limit). Chelation therapy was performed according to ACAM protocol with IV of EDTA glutathione and vitamin C. But I did it about once every three weeks. After about 25 sessions I stopped.
In the article I referred in the post instead, the culprit is manganese (in my case I have not investigated for manganese, I'll do it!) And after 5 days of infusion of EDTA at a dose of 20mg/kg twice daily UDPRS-III score was reduced from 27 to 13 (video S2). After 5 months of treatment, the score decreased to 5/108 (S3). In these cases, researchers have found the cure.
