Mouth gets sore

Hmmm... weird things happening to me lately. I had some organic, dark chocolate. None of the bad things that usually set me off. Only it made my palate sore. It feels like the top layer of skin right near the teeth is loose. It rather burns when I put my tongue up there.

I had the same thing happen the other night, different spot, when I had a burrito bol from Chipotle (supposed to be GF, also omitted the dairy). Something eventually worked loose from the gum/palate area and it healed up in a day or so.

Anyone else have this happen?

I get the same sort of mouth sores occasionally - sort of like a blister at times usually right behind my upper front teeth. I have not pinpointed any one food. Before GF I would frequently get sores anywhere in my mouth.

That is not much help other than to say I think I know what you are feeling.

hmmmm...are you sure you are not injuring the tissue with food that is either too hot or too rough??

You are probably right Cara.

No, haven't burned myself. Used to do that with molten cheese on pizza but that is something I don't eat any more. :(

I also have this reaction sometimes when I eat walnuts. I seem to be developing a lot of allergies!
