What's on your plate??

I did get some leaves mowed yesterday, in addition to Cassie's little toy dog..:o And heard a pounding rain all night that continues into this morning so surely the burn ban will be lifted before the temps. drop and the snow arrives.

Barbo and I are having lunch at a Mexican Restaurant this noon...she's been absent from here as she is unable to log in...not sure what the problem is but she has reported it to the mods so someone will figure it out I'm sure.

We are looking forward to going into Chicago Wed for some play time..(thought of Doodys little man...lol) I hope I won't end up pounting. :D
We'll get to see our sil for dinner one night and little sister & husband are coming down from Wi one night so we'll be busy.

Hubby is taking is computer so you all can't be partying in my absence. :D

on my days off... lots of "me" time doing what makes "me" feel I'm moving forward...

on my work days (today being one of them), I will work :)

I've had some good times being able to watch the Sweet Adeline Webcast, seeing my friends sing sing sing and some of them "win", too!

I've spent time with all 3 of my sons and my darling grand-addy.

l didn't get a job I applied for ... and it doesn't matter... except that it was a great experience (I made it all the way to the end of the interview process).

I have friends turning 65 and 100 this week!

Ooh the opportunity to organize whats on my plate!

Monday: work and then at home need to write 1-3 papers for school
Tuesday: work and then meeting with my professor at 4pm, she is an 81 year old psychologist that created my program at my school way back when. Kind of like Alffe in the sense that she is a big activist in the community and such an inspiration. She spends her days volunteering at the zoo, advising students, and staying active in the community. Definitely a role model for my own future. :) I may have the apartment to myself afterwards since it'll be the first big basketball game so the boys will be spending it watching it somewhere else, hopefully, so I can focus on school.
Wednesday: work and then in the evening, my 2nd job til late at night.
Thursday: work and then I also have my first appointment with a new psychologist, a little nervous. He was recomemended to me but not so sure. . . I have alot of stress to dump on someone else. ;)
Friday: work and then afterwards, maybe if I am up to it, I was invited to help out setting up the Halloween party.
Saturday: Halloween party. And anniversary I don't like to remember, but must. Maybe a visit to the cemetary in the morning?
Sunday: more writing. . .

Can't wait to look forward to something else more exciting besides writing. Just gotta get it done then I'll be home free.

LOL @ and with Pooh! Too cute and I hope you and the monster have a good week.

Me...basically same as Pooh...minus the monster. :D Well, unless you count my 1 canine monster and 4 feline monsters.

Everyday...work, 7:30-2:30 (thanks to my job being cut to 3/4 time). Which is nice, don't get me wrong...love leaving earlier, but hate the big cut in pay. :p

Have to pick up Oscar (the grand-monster) and daughter tonight and give them a ride home, since daddy isn't back from the AWESOME PACKER GAME yet. GO PACK!

Barbo and I had a great lunch + a lot of fun. :D Thanks Chemar for the help getting her up and running again.

Wish I will be thinking about you on Halloween..anniversary dates are forever difficullt to get through...love how positive you are sounding.

I called the fire station and asked if I could burn in my approved, covered container and they said absolutely NOT! The ban will be in effect until the 27th regardless of how much rain we get...

Addy I was thrilled to read three...that's real progress. :grouphug:

pooh...thanks for making me remember that I have a load of wet clothes that need to go into the dryer....

Goofy, good luck with that...it's an unusual young person that knows what they want to major in and most change their minds after a semester or two....enjoy this time.

I'm baaaaaaaack!!!!

Been working on my computer....

PLEASE BE CAREFUL when using Facebook applications.

I don't use facebook... only looked at it once... and a SUPER VIRUS hit my computer. (Diagnostic tools ran traced back to a facebook link)

It deleted so much on my hard-drive that I am still not back at 100%.

It also hijacked my email addresses and began sending out hundreds of emails...

Alffe 10-25-2010 04:46 PM

I glaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!! :D

I do use facebook to keep up with kids, grandkids, neices, nephews and it's great, but I do not play any of those games because my puter would freeze and go wonky on me when I tried them.

What a pain Abby...so glad you are back in business..missed you!

Finally getting my haircut in the a.m. and I keep hearing about a big storm, high winds coming our way. It will be interesting to see Lake Michigan kicked up...
