Visual Cue Devices for Improving Walking for Parkinson's Patients?
 

I recently found several non-pharmaceutical devices that take different approaches to helping PD patients walk. Does anyone have any experience with this? Very simple. The basic idea is to have a visual cue of some kind in front of the person, that the person can sort of walk through. The Mobilaser research seems to suggest this helps reroute around damaged brain-body signal areas.

My friend Jan has one of the visual cue devices and it's been truly helpful. Not familiar with the others mentioned, but we can say good things about the Medigait glasses. They are not fashion accessories, but the kids on our block find them intriguing and love to chat with Jan when she's out and striding. (Which is not these days. Difficult times. She moved on to the U-Step walking aid, e.g. walker that zooms, and now is relying on me or a chair for moving about).
