A friend of mine died back East
I just got an email this morning from a friend, telling me that our friend had passed away.
He had been sick, went though the whole chemo, radiation, the whole nine yards. Then he was put in a nursing center. He had brain cancer, only 61 years old. He was a fun guy, when we all used to go to wherever my girlfriends band (two sisters and one's husband) was playing, he would sing at the table, he knew every word to every song. They used to reserve a table for him. He loved the band, and would dance and just was a fun person. He will be missed. They said he was totally out of it for a few months now, he couldn't hold a conversation, it is so sad. You never know, we have to cherish every moment. I wish I could fly back, but I can't. I did fly back when my girlfriends (they are sisters) brother died when I first moved here in 2004. I am very close to them. When someone passes away, I always think, oh NO, it seems to always happen in three's. I worry about that now. I know maybe I am just crazy to think that way. Have some phone call's to make.
