this is a great informational and friendly site, but ive never used one not sure i know how, all of you with on, do you have stopped up ear and nose on that side and pain in the shoulder and arm like a pinched nerve when you turn your head?

Hi Constance, welcome to NeuroTalk from another ON sufferer. :)
I don't get a stopped/blocked up ear or nose, I just get pain in and around the ear, and pain down the neck and shoulders. It usually hurts to turn my head and lift my shoulders when the ON is bad.
I get the nerve blocks now and they help me a lot. I hope you have found a treatment that helps.

Constance:
Hi, my name is Kim. I am an ON sufferer for one year now. I also have TMJ and that causes my ears to feel full and it makes my neck and shoulder muscles really tight!!! Some days I can't even wear a button down blouse with a collar on it because the collar is too heavy to sit on the base of my neck and it will trigger my ON pain.

I am so sorry to hear that you have this demon. I will pray for you and your healing progress.

Take care friend.

Oh I forgot to add that I do get pain when I turn my head. I can't even sit next to someone and have a conversation with them with my head turned to the side. I have to talk to the person while looking straight ahead.

In time you will be able to figure out what triggers your ON and try to avoid those things.
