Cooling Vest for the Cool Olhipie

Hello all...I was talking about trip to the Teton's with my DH...aka Olhipie, and asked him if he had a cooling vest if he would wear it...so where do I get one of these wonderful life savers??:D

Tammy you can get a whole slew of cooling gear free yes I said FREE from the MS association

www.msassociation.org

Go to prgrams and services..fill out the online application...pick the type of gear you want and they will mail it to you, I had mine within a week of filling it out!

Tammy,

Here are the best companies that sell cool vests:
www.polarsoftice.com
www.steelevest.com
www.bodycooler.com

If you qualify financially then you can get one for free from the MS Society of America as noted above by NaeNae at (800) 532-7667 (msaa@msassociation.org).

You can also Google "CoolSport" for another option.

There is one place though that is free with no income qualifications. Unless they have added them since I got mine 10 years ago. I think mine is a Steele and I love it. I wouldn't be able to do this phototherapy for my psoriasis if I didn't have it.

We don't qualify for the equipment. Thanks for the links Vic!

Go to Activemsers.org and look for their review of cooling vests. They have a bunch of links to various makers and information about what kinds are best for various situations.
