100 calorie margarita from hungry girl site

HG's Magical 100-Calorie Margarita

Ingredients:
6 oz. Sierra Mist Free (or Sprite Zero, or your other fave no-cal lemon-lime soda)
*1 shot of tequila (1.5 oz.)
1 packet **Crystal Light on the Go Lemonade (you may use 1/2 of the packet if you don't want your drink as intensely sweet)
2 tbsp. lime juice from concentrate (or fresh-squeezed lime juice)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Pour over 1 cup of crushed ice. Enjoy.

*You can also make your margarita alcohol-free. This recipe, without tequila, contains just 10 calories (5 calories if you use only half of the Crystal Light packet).

**1 tsp. Crystal Light Lemonade drink mix may be substituted.

So Bizi, have you tried this yet? If so was it as good as the real thing? I love margaritas but I rarely drink anymore. ...Sue

Well......no

to tell you the truth.....
I have not tried it yet.
I drank real ones last night and felt so guilty for it...well they were so good.
I kept thinking that someone has to be able to make a good diet margarita...then I saw this receipe on hungry girl site and posted it here.
I promise to try it soon and report back.

You were drinking my share...

Bizi;

Before taking my pain meds, I loved those margaritas - Yummy! But no more alcohol for me, not even a light beer. So somebody has to do all the work for me and I thought you would like to take on the responsibility! Down the hatch you go!

Burp...
