Concert to benefit local scholarship foundation

Singer-songwriter Terri Hendrix of Austin, Texas, will perform Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Chef's Table, 2030 Cecil Ashburn Drive, to raise money for the Eric S. Obermann Scholarship Foundation.

Tickets are $100 per person and are tax deductible. That includes gourmet tapas and desserts, fine wine and beer. For more information or reservations, contact Leila Nabors at LLnabors@comcast.net.

Obermann, of Huntsville, has Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), but continues to raise awareness for the disease. His foundation funds scholarships for local college-bound high school seniors.
