Dizziness only while laying down w/ eyes closed

After my head bump into the ceiling back in June I started getting some dizziness sensations when lying down with my eyes closed. Actually, I first noticed it about an hour after the head bump while meditating sitting up, but haven't experienced it sitting up since really. Essentially it feels like my body is spinning, and it only lasts for bouts of at most 7 seconds or so. I can stop the sensations by opening my eyes.

Generally the bouts have gotten shorter since then, although they get longer after another jolt for a time. They really are pretty mild compared to the dizziness I imagine many experience, but my PT says they aren't due to vestibular dysfunction (i.e. vestibular therapy wouldn't help it), and she didn't know what was causing it. It's the least problematic of any of my symptoms, but I'm sort of curious about it.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I have not, I'll have to try that to see if it works, thanks for the link!
