Fusion rate Sacroiliac

I had SI fusion 3 months ago. A ct shows just 20% fusion. My doctor says this is slow. Does anyone out there with SI or spinal fusion know the rate fusion should take place at. Also is there any advice on what could possibly be causing slow bone growth. I am 38 and nonsmoking. Feel free to email-Thanks, Rebecca

Everyone will heal at different rates based on different variables.

What did your doctor say about your slow progress? Did he have any ideas what is causing it and is there anything you can do to aid in the speed of your recovery? Granted, advice from fellow board members can be comforting. However, I wouldn't do anything different than you have been doing until you hear something from your doctor.
