There is a lot of talk out there now that Anti Oxidants are the way to go for chronic pain. Just make sure that you check with your health care person before you start anything. You don't want anything to interact with any of your meds.

My daughter takes three and they seem to help.

also please be cautious as if you have high mercury levels in your system, alpha lipoic acid will bind them (it is a chelating agent) and as it crosses the blood brain barrier, can carry the bound mercury into the brain
