Its hit and miss

Some people report relief - some do not

I haven't heard anything negative (making it worse) so perhaps its worth a shot

I tried it just once. It didn't affect my symptoms but it make me extremely relaxed. Could barely keep my eyes open, and I usually have great difficulty getting to sleep. I wish I could get it every night before bed!

And just to be clear I'm usually very weary of "alternative medicine"
I'm not one who believes in "chakras" and energys and other stuff like that

What I'm trying to say is: "To my surprise, the acupuncture did something - didn't help but it certainly did something"

I got quite a bit of accupuncture and NAET treatments starting around my 3-4 month mark when I was reaching out to anything that could help.

I was always a skeptic but it helped to many people that I knew personally not to consider it. I gave it a shot and still go for regular booster treatments now although less frequently.

I found it helped quite a bit, at the very least it made me feel better physically and I think that has value for your overall mental health. Not all accupunture or accupuncturists, you may get good and bad one's. Perhaps you can find positive feedback from people you know in your area and just give it a try.

I've had several accupuncture treatments for symptoms other than my PCS, namely neck pain. I did help quite a bit as the Chinese doctor asked me what my complaints were, then targeted my neck for treatment.

It has helped reduce the neck pain, but I haven't hear of any PCS specific treatments of accupuncture.

Good luck!

I tried acupuncture a few times so far. I find you do feel a bit different. I'm doing chiro, physio and acupuncture at the same time, but when I added chiro and acupuncture in I found my headaches are still there, but less frequent and neck pain is quite a bit better from both.

One thing to remember here, is that if you can afford to try it, do it! I'm in Canada, and I'm fortunate enough to have at least partial benefits as well as insurance from my sport where I got hurt. I've tried almost everything in the book! Everyone feels different from acupuncture. Mine happened to be a naturopath as well so he gave me some hints on dietary stuff to consider as well as vitamin remedies. If you can find an acupuncturist who is also a naturopath, I'd recommend it!

Hope you find some relief! :)
