I have an online friend who had a DBS for CP tremor. SHe cannot speak. She uses this:

She also said it took her about 2 minutes to learn how to use it. It is amazing!!

I believe it's the type of system that scientist Stephen Hawking has been using, he can't speak either, it's an electronic voice you hear, not his own, and it's totally amazing.
