strange sensations making clothes not comfy

Does it drive anyone else to go wonko when strange sensations make your clothes feel extremely uncomfortable.

I have a sensation in my left leg right now that feels like someone is pulling my jeans against my leg and it hurts...only thing is...I wasnt wearing my jeans when I first noticed it! (wearing cutoff sweat shorts that are not tight at all)

When I do have my jeans on, it's really not comfy at all. I'm constantly having to tug at my clothes this week. My t-shirts feel like they're twisting around my back (and they're not actually doing that)

I'm starting to think that maybe I should just join a nudist colony so that I can walk around nekkid instead of wearing my clothes that are just not comfy to wear.

I dont normally like to wear skirts, but I'm about to pull one out of my closet and wear it for the next few days in the hopes that it'll feel better than wearing jeans or pants do.

I'm sure I'm feeling like this because I had that dental work 2 weeks ago and my body is still a bit irritated with me and it's picking on me now.

My left foot and leg feel warm, and kind of an (un)cool tingly feeling at the same time. The thigh is where my jeans feel like it's twisting around my leg. I'm just not a happy camper right now.

Hi Erin, I get the MS Hug (banding around the bra area) from the back all the way around to the front of the chest. Some get it around the extremities. Do you think it could be that?

The link below lists all sorts of odd sensations and pain MS can cause.

Types of MS-Related Pain

http://www.mult-sclerosis.org/news/J...eSymptoms.html

Band-like pain in torso or extremities (Jeffery, 2000)

Caused by a lesion in the spinal cord, this pain is characterized by intense pressure or squeezing in a girdle-like pattern around the torso.
May respond partially to phenytoin or gabapentin.
For resistant cases, benzodiazepines may be helpful.

It might be some weird banding...it's on the inside of my left leg...up towards...well....ummm...It's above the knee, below the waist. At least it's not always constantly painful.

I've got a very slight fever going on right now, and one tonsil feels like it's going to try to make it's escape. (craptastic...)

I'm popping Tylenol right now...and then I guess I'm going to go lay down and watch television for the rest of the night from the comfort of my bed.

Ears are itching like crazy too.

I've read some MSers get "tight stocking Syndrome." When I taught many autistic kids could not stand the rubbing of clothes labels and parents were always cutting those out. MSers get "over-stim-ed" too IMHO. I never wear pants (unless I know company's coming) but I feel like I always feel like I have thin cotton pajama bottoms on. My jeans feel lousy also because I've gained not weight, but everything shifted. I'm cold, I'm hot. Like Goldilocks nothing is ever just right.

Two or three years ago I had to quit wearing jeans. Just couldnt wear them...they felt weird every where, especially where most jeans have the little metal grommett-like thingies and where some of the stitching for the pockets go...and especially the zippers.

Last year I found some decent "mommy-jeans" at Kmart. (they're not pregnancy pants, but the jeans that have elastic and no zippers) Those have been ok, until this week. Now they're just not comfy. Hopefully whatever is bugging me and making the weird sensations irritate me will go away soon.

It's been cold here, but I think I'll start wearing my skorts early this year. Hopefully I can find a new source for skorts this year. The ones I have now are really comfy, but they're starting to wear out some.

Some days I just can't stand any clothes touching my body. Kinda feels like my skin is extra sensitive, especially bras (my worst enemy).

I have the tight stocking syndrome from my chest to my ankles.

Consequently, tight clothes tend to bother me. I need the "right" material and even then, by the evening I want to put on my pre-pajama-bajamas.

Hope you are feeling better.

Lady, you just explained the sensation I get (banding). Like you said, around the bra area. Feels like a too tight t-shirt :p Luckily when I get that, it's more annoying than anything else.

I get cuffing/banding around my arms as well. Comes and goes.

Ooooh, i'm with you here. I had the itching ear thing!!! would gladly have chopped it off.
more recently, i feel like my knee is bleeding and its dripping down my leg. There are some clothes i just can't wear. and i feel like my bra strap is slipping down all the time.

Tags on my shirt at the back of my neck really bother me. I usually rip the tags off.
