Confused LTD payments & SSDI

Husband is waiting for his first check from LTD. Applied for SSDI month ago. So let's say it takes a year or more to get SSDI which then would involve backpay from SSDI to date of onset of disability.

Is husbands money from LTD considered SGA money, putting him over the limit of 1,000 a month? Do they consider LTD payments over the limit?

Thanks

LTD benefits are not wages. Since they are not wages, they cannot be considered SGA.
