Yes, there are always new books, programs and TV Shows. Just look how popular the biggest loser is? Basically all you need is better nutrition and exercise.

Of course, getting the correct information is the problem as it is not readily available in the media or from the advisory bodies, so you have to look for it yourself.
Most stuff published in the common media is promoted by food producers or those with a vested interest, so very biased.
