Alpha Stimulation???
 

:confused: Has anyone used this. My p-doc suggested I try it since antidepressants send me into mania almost before I swallow them. It is FDA approved for treating depression -also doing a 75 mg welbutan cut in half, half in the am half in the pm...

never heard of that before have you googled it?
I have taken welbutrin before and tolerated it...I can't take ssris they make me manic but welbutrin did not.
I think I took 150 mg, normal dose is 300mg I think.

I went to the site that sells them and it sounds like it is worth a shot! I would be very anxious to hear of your results....I bet they are expensive????

Thanks, I googled alot on it too. The ones just for depression/anxiety etc/ are around 500.00 but my doc rents them for 75.00 for 2 weeks so you can see if it works for you before you buy one. You have to have a script in the US to get one. Most places will let you rent to own. Some insurances will cover it, I don't know about mine yet, or if I can pay for it out of my medical spending account. I do know that I feel more relaxed at the end of the treatment, real depression relief takes 2-3 weeks. I will let you know...it would be great to eliminate one drug, especially one that causes manic side effects.I have only used it 2 days.
