So Angry

I'm very angry at my family right now!!!
For quite a few weeks I haven't felt quite like myself. No energy can't breathe. Last weekend I got a lot worse...couldn't do anything without feeling like I just couldn't get my breath. Monday spent a few hours in ER to find out I have a UTI. While there they did a CT scan on my lungs to make sure I didn't have a clot. I didn't have a clot.

WELL, here comes the part about my anger with my family. I am not a smoker and never have been but was raised in a family with four smokers. No one smoked outside like they do now. They would all be smoking in the house every time we got together for family fun. Two of those family members are gone because of smokers related cancer!!

I was diagnosed with COPD that day in the ER!! :hissyfit:

So sorry to hear this, Tamiloo.
I hope you're feeling better fast and are getting the right treatments for both your uti and the COPD.
Maintain your physical exercize. That can be helpful too.
Thinking of you.

Hello tamiloo

I AM SO SORRY that you have COPD. You have every right to be angry. We didn't know back in the day, just how bad all the second hand smoke was. I grew up in a house of smokers too. I remember getting my mothers furniture, it took years of polishing to get the yellow smoke stains out of it.

Is there any kind of treatment, that can slow it up, and make breathing easier for you? Can it go into remission? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

The anger does goes away, but the sorrow it seems hangs around when you are left with the result of what others did. They didn't want to do this to you Tamiloo, they just didn't really know how bad it would hurt. ginnie:grouphug:
