Quick Question

Anyone go to fireworks for July 4th during PCS and what kind of effect did it have on you?

Hi there, I chose not to go because I knew it would be sensory overload. If you feel like going, bring ear plugs and maybe headphones on top of that. Maybe Mark or someone has more experience on this...

thank you for your reply; I appreciate it!!! I was leaning in the same direction that it would be too much for me, but I am so itching to be "normal" again, I thought I would ask the question anyway! :)

I have done many things that may cause a reaction. It is an assumed risk. Nobody can say how you will respond. Life is a constant series of trade-offs with and without PCS. We all choose which risks to take.

If 'normal' is so important, try being normal and see if your brain agrees.

Is there ever a normal that we are entitled to?

As Yogi Bera said, "When you come to a fork in the road, Take it. "

Thank you Mark! I always enjoy/learn from your responses. :)
