shelly did you get an rx to get the gunk up? like phlemez or have you taken a musinex type of pill? they willl help loosen your chest, so your cough is productive. i'm sure you chest hurts with all that coughing.

that steam bowl makes a good facial too.

i hope you feel better soon.

Ok so the Vicks failed? Curious how did lil monkey do in the night?
I'm getting ready to leave for lunch with my Pastor....Tabbuleh (sp?) baba ganouh and garlic paste on pita bread....yum yum!

Jomar 12-04-2007 01:42 PM

Vicks dries my sinuses out too much or makes the gunk too thick.
I use it if I have a drippy nose though.

I use steam/vaporizer - oh and those saline nasal drops when I get bad colds with tight congestion.

I used to get Bronchitis a lot in my 20s {hanging out with smokers too much I think}

Hi~

I hope you get to feeling better soon Shelley. I get that o'le bronchitis stuff sometimes also. Makes you feel awful! So far I have escaped it. Trying hard not to catch anything since I don't have anyone to wait on me. LOL

I've still got back and stomach problems. It's like this, I want to go to my specialist, and yet I don't. I have had to many surgeries already. I can't imagine a shot helping me, for they never did. If this keeps up, I may see my family Doc sometime. He told me to come back if I don't improve.

It's suspose to snow again. Alffe are they saying you will get some?

Waves @ Billie....They are predicting 3 to 5 inches starting tonight but they are so often wrong that I don't pay a lot of attention to them. *grin

I did notice the store was packed with grocery shoppers so some people believe it!

I made it through my procedure...

...now I have these foreign objects hanging from my body and another remote to deal with. (I wonder if this one would turn the TV on and off as well???)

On Monday, I had the trial of the Spinal Cord Stimulator placed in my lower left back in the fatty part of my buns! Only the wires have been implanted and attached to my spinal cord. The actual device is hanging outside in a little bag that's attached to a belt.

I was really out of it when I got home @ 11 a.m. I slept most of the afternoon.

Anyway, it feels like it is going to help me - YEAH! Now I have to wait until I can have it permanently installed and because of the holidays, that won't be until Jan.

I'm really tired so I'll write more later...

Love to all,
Nancy
