Own Up. Guilty Pleasures!

Tracks you REALLY shouldn't like. Here is mine

Bryan Adams and a Spice Girl, Mel C: When You're Gone.

If you mean bad songs that I like then there are a lot. ;)

Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles

There's one particular Ricky Martin song too.
Can't find it right now.
There's a Devo one as well. Oh and a couple of Culture Club. :)

Yes, Lara, bad songs or one particular track from an awful Songster that you hate to love. One that you sing along to in the car, much to the horror of all around!

Dave.

Video Killed the Radio Star was the first video aired by MTV, aptly named. What did we do before music videos? Just concert or session footage.

Another couple from my Vault: Devo, I can never fathom why,

Devo - Whip It (Video): http://youtu.be/IIEVqFB4WUo

and Men Without Hats, New Wave, floppy haired junk which a former Love listened to continuously. Nostalgia.

Hi Dave,

I STILL love and listen to Rick Astley....he is not in the "bad" category as he has a great voice but boy, was this song and video overplayed on radio and TV when it came out. I was disappointed he did not have a lifelong music career.

Not completely embarrassing, but close enough:

Dave.

I am not sure I remember that one.
I clicked on the link. I wish I had not.

It is all kinds of awful although I do understand that it could be catchy
after listening to it a few times -- not that I listened more than once ;)

Great thread - thanks Dave

"Love Shack" - B52's

"One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" George Thorogood & The Destroyers

"Dead Beat Club" and "Roam" by the B-52s, same album as Love Shack. I just like those cuts better. Fred Schneider is so Fred Schneidery dropping 'Dead Beat Club' in during the refrain... though I guess that makes a ton of sense.... as he is well, Fred Schneider.

:ROTFLMAO:

Great thread!

Do I dare to play along?

:Blush2:

It's possible ALL of my music fits this category!

Gotta Laugh! :winky:
